Crafting Traditional Pasties with love
Our Journey: Baking
Tradition in Every Pasty
Moving to Carradale was the best thing we ever did, and whilst semi-retired the desire to bake hasn’t disappeared.
We ran a very happy bakery in the ‘Lot’ area of France - British Bakery France, now in safe hands down in Antibes.
The pasties are not Bridies but Cornish type pasties. The baking journey started in Cornwall with Bakeries in Truro and Perranporth and there is quite a story behind learning the true pasty making skill!
As Cornish pasties have PGI status, and even though made to the true Cornish recipe and construction, we cannot call them Cornish Pasties, however they are a Real Pasty! The fillings are generous and ideal to eat hot or cold and suitable for freezing.
Our plan is to freshly bake from scratch 2-3 times a month with pick up points for pre orders on baking days. Producing only our pasties, NO other pies, biscuits, sausage rolls, cakes or bakes.
There is a new Facebook page for ‘Real Pasty Company’ which has more information, and when a little further on will keep you posted so please follow us
