Cheese and onion pasty certainly voted as a must have in our recent poll! How do we make it? Starting by super slow cooked caramelised onions and parsley, chives, butter and stock, then with a little cream, vegetarian cheddar and Italian hard cheese and potato to bind and thicken. Encased in pastry light and flaky. We don’t think a Cheese and onion pasty was a traditional Cornish recipe but the vote said to include so we have!


Ingredients: Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Potato, onion, mature cheddar (Milk) Italian hard cheese (Milk), Butter (Milk) Cream(Milk) Margarine (Vegetable Oils and Fats (Palm, Rapeseed), Dijon Mustard with preservative (Sodium hydrogen sulphite). Seasoning: Sea salt, Potato starch, Hydrolysed vegetable protein (contains Soya), Vegetable oil (sunflower, rapeseed), Vegetables 7% (onion, parsnip, carrot, leek), Celery seed, Parsley, Pepper, Turmeric, Garlic, Mace, Lovage, Nutmeg.
